On June 13, Guangdong had 4 new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases, all reported by Guangzhou.

The province also reported 3 imported confirmed cases, with 2 in Guangzhou from Malaysia and Cambodia, and 1 in Shenzhen from Indonesia.

And it had 14 imported asymptomatic cases, including 10 in Guangzhou from France, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Oman, Malaysia, and Zambia; 1 in Shenzhen from the Democratic Republic of the Congo; 1 in Dongguan from Saudi Arabia; and 2 in Zhaoqing from Japan.

As of June 13, Guangdong had reported a total of 2,625 confirmed COVID-19 cases, including 1,075 imported.

Update on COVID-19 cases in Guangzhou

All the cases reported in Guangzhou were detected from close contacts screening, and have been transferred to the Guangzhou No.8 People's Hospital for quarantine and treatment.

Confirmed case No. 1: Female, 71 years old, lives in East 13th Lane, Heyuan, Baihedong Street, Liwan District, (荔湾区白鹤洞街道鹤园东十三巷), a close contact of a confirmed case on June 11.

Confirmed case No. 2: Male, 38 years old, lives in One Blossom Cove, Baihedong Street, Liwan District, (荔湾区白鹤洞街道中海花湾), a close contact of confirmed case on June 11.

Confirmed case No. 3: Male, 44 years old, lives in East 13th Lane, Heyuan, Baihedong Street, Liwan District, (荔湾区白鹤洞街道鹤园东十三巷), a close contact of previously confirmed cases on June 7.

Confirmed case No. 4: Female, 22 years old, lives in Dayuan Nan Road, Dayuan Street, Baiyun District (白云区大源街道大源南路), a close contact of a previously confirmed case on June 4.

Imported confirmed case No. 1: Female, 44 years old, departed from Malaysia by flight CZ350 on June 11, arrived in Guangzhou on the same day.

Imported confirmed case No. 2: Male, 28 years old, departed from Cambodia by flight LQ908 on June 11, arrived in Guangzhou on June 12.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 1: Male, 21 years old, departed from the UAE by flight EK362 on May 29, arrived in Guangzhou on the same day.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 2: Male, 29 years old, departed from the UAE by flight EK362 on May 29, arrived in Guangzhou on the same day.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 3: Male, 23 years old, departed from France by flight CZ348 on June 10, arrived in Guangzhou on June 11.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 4: Female, 25 years old, departed from France by flight CZ348 on June 10, arrived in Guangzhou on June 11.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 5: Female, 24 years old, departed from Japan by flight JL87 on June 11, arrived in Guangzhou on the same day.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 6: Female, 40 years old, departed from Malaysia by flight CZ350 on Jun11, arrived in Guangzhou on the same day.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 7: Female, 24 years old, departed from Canada by flight CZ330 on May 26, arrived in Guangzhou on May 27.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 8: Male, 24 years old, departed from Oman by flight WY851 on June 11, arrived in Guangzhou on the same day.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 9: Male, 36 years old, departed from Zambia by flight EK714 & EK362 on June 2, arrived in Guangzhou on June 5.

Imported asymptomatic case No. 10: Male, 25 years old, departed from Ukraine by flight KL1382 & CZ308 on May 20, arrived in Guangzhou on May 22.

All these cases have all been transferred to Guangzhou No.8 People's Hospital for isolation and treatment after receiving a positive result in nucleic acid test for COVID-19.
