The harm of poisonous mushrooms

The incubation period of poisoning mushrooms is 2 hours to 24 hours, and some are only about 10 minutes. Ingestion of poisonous mushrooms can cause damage to the liver, and patients will have symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and liver pain. At present, there is no specific treatment for poisoning by toxic mushrooms, the symptoms of poisoning are serious and the mortality rate is high.

How to distinguish poisonous mushrooms?

Some wild poisonous mushrooms are similar in appearance to edible mushrooms, which are difficult to distinguish by appearance characteristics such as shape, smell and colour.

In the wild, non-toxic mushrooms often grow together with poisonous mushrooms, and non-toxic mushrooms are easily contaminated by the hyphae of poisonous mushrooms.

Therefore, it’s safer to not eat wild plants at all!
