Police in Shenzhen have cracked down on two spots that produce fake N95 masks
According to Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department, Guangdong police have launched a special campaign to combat intellectual property crimes from 2020 to 2022.
Since the campaign was launched in 2020, Guangdong police have cracked down on more then 2700 cases of infringing upon intellectual property rights, which related to face masks, watches and leatherware.
Police in Shenzhen have cracked down on two spots that produce fake N95 masks, worth nearly seventy million RMB. According to Shenzhen police, a total of 18 suspects were detained during the operation, while seizing more than 700,000 fake masks.
A spokesperson of the Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department stated that Guangdong police always places great emphasis and will continue protecting Intellectual Property Rights through tackling related crimes.
