On April 8, Guangdong’s first vaccination vehicle was put into use on a trial basis at Tianyao Plaza in Longhua District, Shenzhen, to provide citizens with convenient services for vaccinations.

The vaccination vehicle is modified from a bus, with a cold chain zone and a vaccination zone. It is equipped with 2 medical smart refrigerators and 4 medical smart freezers. The nurse does not need to open the freezer when taking the vaccine, just click on the electronic screen freezer to automatically launch the vaccine capsule. There is a registration area, observation area, adverse reaction treatment room, an ambulance and a professional first aid personnel set up outside the vaccination vehicle to deal with emergencies.

According to the vaccinated residents, it only takes about 15 minutes to vaccinate through the vaccination vehicle. From 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., 600 doses of vaccination were completed.

In the future, the vaccination vehicle will also serve more communities and office buildings so that residents can be vaccinated more conveniently.
