On March 19, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced the suspension of a further six international flights.
Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CA910 from Moscow arriving in Zhengzhou, China on March 6.
Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CA438 from Kathmandu arriving in Chengdu, China on March 7.
Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight CZ8182, arriving in Shenzhen, China from Nairobi on March 6.
Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight EK362, arriving in Guangzhou, China from Dubai on March 6.
Five passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight OS75 from Vienna arriving in Shanghai, China on March 6.
Six passengers tested positive for COVID-19 on flight KQ882, arriving in Guangzhou, China from Nairobi on March 9.
Quota for these flights shall not be used for other routes. If a flight triggers the circuit breaker mechanism during the period before the suspension begins, future suspension times will accumulate.
CAAC also requires the above-mentioned six airlines provide services, such as passenger comfort, ticket refunds and changes on subsequent flights, in line with the requirement of local embassies or consulates.
