From March 5th to 7th, contemporary acrobatic show The Butterfly Lovers, adapted from the story of Chinese tragic folktale of a pair of lovers, Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai, presented a successful premiere at Guangzhou Opera House during its 2021 Women’s Art Festival.

In the next step, the show will also be presented in Foshan, Shenzhen and Jiangmen during the first round of tours across Guangdong. After that, audiences in Beijing and Shanghai will also have the opportunity to enter the theater, and appreciate the aesthetic and innovative acrobatics.
