Starting from March 1st, passengers will face stricter regulations either by taking the train or airplane from Guangdong to Beijing.

For those departing from Guangzhou South Railway Station (including those arriving from Shaoguan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, Jiangmen and Yangjiang), Shenzhen North Railway Station, and Shenzhen Railway Station, from March 1st to March 12th, you will go through security and body temperature checks, as well as real-name registration twice before entering the ‘special waiting room’ for Beijing inbound travelers. Above all, seven-day valid nucleic acid testing (NAT) result is needed to board the train.

The train bound for Beijing includes: G72, G80, G66, G68, G70, D922, D924, D902, D904, D910, and D928.

According to the relevant requirements for epidemic prevention and control of Beijing, passengers from low-risk areas will need to show seven-day valid NAT result both at the check-in counters and departure gates to get on aboard the plane from January 28th to March 15th.

For those taking Air China, China Eastern Airlines, Hainan Airlines, or China United Airlines to Beijing at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, you can go to the ‘special check-in’ counters - D23 and D24 at Terminal 1 (T1). For China Southern Airlines, you should check your baggage and get your boarding pass at Area D of Terminal 2 (T2).

Furthermore, passengers flying to Beijing at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport also need to prepare the seven-day valid NAT result in advance either on paper or on their phone.

Note: Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing Railway Station will also check the Negative NAT result of every passenger upon arrival.
