A passenger took the K675/678 train from Guangzhou to Wuhu, Anhui on January 24. He tested positive for nucleic acid at the isolation point after getting off the train.
This passenger arrived in Guangzhou on January 9th. After a 14-day quarantine period in Guangzhou, he took the K675/678 train from Guangzhou East Railway Station to Wuhu Station on January 24, and arrived at Wuhu Station in the early morning of January 25.
It is known that the passengers in the same compartment involved 4 people from Huaibei City, Anhui Province, who were close contacts. They were all quarantined in the early morning of January 26, and the first nucleic acid test was negative. There are 39 second close contacts and they have also been quarantined. The CDC has sampled and eliminated the contact objects and environment of relevant personnel.
This train departed from Guangzhou East Railway Station and once stopped in Dongguan, Huizhou and Heyuan. At present, the passengers who were on the same train as the confirmed case are being urgently sought.
