On January 20th, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) ordered a suspension of flight MS958 (Cairo to Guangzhou) by Egypt Air and flight AF202 (Paris to Tianjin) with Air France.

Six passengers from flight MS958 (January 8th) tested positive for COVID-19. Starting from February 1st, this flight will be suspended for two weeks. According to a previous announcement from CAAC, the flight has already been suspended for two weeks from January 18th. Suspensions are accumulated and will be carried out consecutively.
Five passengers from flight AF202 (January 8th) tested positive for COVID-19. Starting from January 25th, this flight will be suspended for two weeks. According to CAAC, the airline can still operate this flight before January 25th, during which time, if it triggers a second "circuit breaker", the suspensions will be accumulated and carried out consecutively too.
The quotas of these two flights cannot be used for other routes. The CAAC also requires the above-mentioned airlines to pacify their passengers and handle refunds or appropriate changes.
