Krovanh, the 23rd typhoon of the year, has taken shape in South China Sea on the afternoon of December 20th. It will not directly affect Guangdong province but continue to move southwestward to the southern coastal regions of Vietnam at a speed of 15 km/h. However, with the intensity of wind scale, there will be gusts of wind on the ocean surface of the province’s coastal cities and in the South China Sea.

From December 20th to December 22nd, most cities in the province will be dull and overcast with some sunshine at noon and continual coldness in the morning and evening. The lowest temperature in the north is 3℃ - 7℃, 10℃ - 13℃ in the coastal south, and 7℃ - 10℃ in the rest of the province, according to the latest weather forecast,
On December 23rd, it will rain in the north and north-central cities of the Pearl River Delta region, while the rest of the province will be cloudy and experience some drizzle. The lowest temperature in the morning in the north is 7℃ - 11℃, 13℃ - 16℃ in the coastal south, and 11℃ - 13℃ in the rest of the province.
Guangzhou is getting colder without any sign of rise in temperature. The cold air in the early morning and evening will continue with us, with a new typhoon and some rainfall on the way.
