The revised version of Policies and Measures of Guangdong Province on Further Expanding Opening-up and Actively Attracting Foreign Direct Investment (Ten Policies and Measures for Foreign Investment) is one example, which was released in 2018 and stipulates the reinforcement of intellectual property protection.
In 2019, Guangdong promulgated the Measures and Policies on IP Protection and Exploitation for SMEs. It outlines a list of eight specific measures to promote the protection and effective use of intellectual property among SMEs in Guangdong.
The Foreign Investment Law of the People's Republic of China, which came into force on January 1st, 2020, also outlined several measures to enhance IPR protection.
