Guangzhou was invited to attend the Kazan Digital Week and share its experience of smart city development with global counterparts at an online round table on September 23rd.
Lin Daoping, Vice Mayor of Guangzhou, presented on the way Guangzhou developed its smart transportation network to boost urban vitality. “We praise the ideas of innovation, coordination, green, openness and sharing when it comes to urban planning and development. And we welcome more exchanges and cooperation with our global partners.”
Kazan Digital Week is held by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan from September 21st -24th, aiming to connect international markets in the fields of smart portable devices, systems and transportation.
With the theme of ′′ Smart City ", the round table was with the participation of mayors of foreign and Russian cities. The concept of a smart city is a system where the resources of existing city services are used in the most optimal way to provide the most convenience to the residents of the city. This requires a close connection between smart city projects and metropolitan planners.
