From tomorrow, April 27th, passengers who intend to take the metro in Guangzhou should show their health code and have temperature checked, according to the latest announcement from the authorities in Guangzhou. Those with a red code or who have a high temperature will be denied access to the metro station.
Guangzhou Metro reminds passengers to have their Suikang Code or Yuekang Code ready.
Those who do not have a smart phone, especially the elderly and children, can ask their families or companions to apply for a health code on their behalf. They can also print the code and carry it with themselves.
Foreigners and passengers from Hong Kong and Macao SARs who have a Chinese mobile phone with WeChat, can complete real-name verification using either their passport or Exit-Entry Permit to get a Suikang or Yuekang code.
