As of March 28th, Guangdong had reported 8 new imported cases, with 6 cases in Guangzhou (3 from the United Arab Emirates, 1 from the UK, Malaysia and Ireland respectively), 1 in Shenzhen (from the UK), and 1 in Zhuhai (from the UK), according to the Health Commission of Guangdong Province.

From today (March 29th), domestic airlines are required to reduce their international routes to only one per country and cap the number of flights to no more than one flight per week, while foreign carriers allowed to maintain only one air route to China and operate no more than one flight a week, according to a notice issued by the Civil Aviation Administration on Thursday night.

Guangzhou-based China Southern Airlines will keep its flights from Guangzhou to main international aviation hubs including Los Angeles in the US, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Paris in France and London in the UK, as well as its traditional international fights from Guangzhou to Sydney in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand.

Beijing-based Air China will keep 23 flights to Los Angeles and Vancouver in Canada, with 17 starting from Beijing, 5 from Shanghai and 1 from Chengdu.

Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines will keep 19 international fights connecting with New York in the US, Toronto in Canada, Paris and London.

Hainan Airlines will keep 2 flights from Beijing to Toronto and Brussels. And its affiliated Beijing Capital Airliners kept its flight from Qingdao to London.

Jixiang Airlines will provide 4 international flights from Shanghai to Helsinki of Finland, Osaka in Japan, Bangkok in Thailand and Singapore.

Xiamen Airlines will provide 8 international flights from Xiamen to Bangkok, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Singapore, Sydney, Amsterdam, Vancouver and Los Angeles.

Spring Airlines will provide 4 international flights from Shanghai to Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Jeju in South Korea and Tokyo in Japan.

Ruili Airlines will cancel all its international flights from March 30th to May 2nd.

Domestic airlines warn that if passengers want to cancel their schedule, they can claim refund within the valid period of the ticket. If passengers still want to continue their travel, they are suggested to change their ticket after airlines release the further flight plans. Passengers will not be charged for ticket refund or change.
