Shenzhen reported that another five patients previously infected with the coronavirus (2019-nCoV) were discharged from hospital on February 3rd after making a full recovery. As of now, a total of 10 people have been discharged in Shenzhen. The first recovered patient in the province was also from Shenzhen.

Shenzhen CDC confirmed that the five discharged patients all showed a negative result after two nucleic acid tests, which was in line with the standards stated in The Treatment Plan for Novel Coronavirus published by the NHC.
Experts from the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen said that there is no novel coronavirus inside the patients who are therefore no longer infectious. They still need to receive follow-up checks regularly after discharge.
