On February 1st China Southern Airlines sent chartered flights to Phuket Island of Thailand and brought back 89 stranded Hubei residents including 3 babies to Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, following the novel coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan.

The chartered flight CZ3001 departed from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 13:31 and landed in Phuket at 16:49 (Beijing Time). Bringing with 89 stranded Hubei residents, the return flight CZ3002 arrived at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport at 23:00.

Nursing workers from Guangdong Provincial People’s Hospital were aboard the plane. Passengers on board were tested if they had a fever. Those with the symptoms of fever will be quarantined immediately.

According to the China News Agency, a batch of charter flights sent by the Chinese government has brought back 399 stranded Hubei residents from Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and other countries since January 31st.
