A project on smart city development in such fields as administrative services and health care was signed between the Institute of Software Application Technology, Guangzhou & Chinese Academy of Sciences (GZIS), Guangzhou CAS Cogniser Technology Co. Ltd and Batangas of Philippine recently. The total investment of the project reaches PHP 6 billion which is about RMB 830 million.
According to the agreement, Batangas will utilize the technologies of AI and IoT in the development of smart health care, tourism, security, logistics, education and agriculture. The project is scheduled to launch in January 2020 and complete in ten years.
Hermilando I.Mandanas, Governor of Batangas, said it is of great pleasure to introduce advanced technologies from China into Batangas. “The project is a good beginning to develop Smart Batangas and a great opportunity to push forward Belt and Road development,” he said.
