The 8th Guangzhou International Food & Ingredient Fair (GIFIF) will be held at the Guangzhou Poly World Trade Center between June 27th and 29th, featuring high quality foods and ingredients from both home and abroad as well as business opportunities in the catering industry.

Food and ingredients

In Hall 3 for imported food, exhibitors from Russia, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Ukraine, United States, Israel, Peru and Cambodia will demonstrate over 1000 kinds of high quality foods and ingredients from their countries, such as Japanese sake, Ukrainian black bread and New Zealand’s lobster.

In Hall 4 for domestic food, exhibition groups from Sichuan, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hunan, Henan, and Yunnan will showcase a variety of local products. In the newly added rice display area, you can see high quality rice presented by China’s famous food enterprises, including China National Cereals, Oils and Foodstuffs Corporation (COFCO), Yihai Kerry Oils & Grains Industries Co., Ltd., and Tailiang Rice.

Business opportunities

In Halls 1 and 2, established catering chain brands will provide special offers and one-stop service for their partners. Some of the famous brands include ZZ Pizza, Meetrice, Wenshi Jiawei, Denglao Herbal Tea, Joyoung Soybean Milk and Grandpa’s Hollow Noodles.

In Hall 5, over 40 forums and competitions will be held during the fair on the themes of Chinese cuisine, rice, cooking, dim sum, retail and chain business.

About 1,500 exhibitors will attend the fair which covers an area of over 50,000 square meters. It is estimated that over 50,000 visitors and investors from related fields will come to the exhibition.

You can get a free ticket with two businesses cards or follow the WeChat account ‘世界食品广州展’ to reserve a ticket for free before June 27th. For others, you need to buy a ticket for the fair which is priced at 50 RMB.

The fair is hosted by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou Council (CCPIT Guangzhou) and organized by Guangzhou International Exhibition Company.

How to get to the fair: Take Guangzhou Metro Line 8 and get off at Pazhou Station, take exit C and get to the Poly World Trade Center.
