Chinese animations and comics exhibition to open in Osaka

Featuring 136 of the very best Chinese animations and comics, the exhibition ‘中国アニメ・漫画の日本ツアー、水墨の中から来る’ will be held in Osaka, Japan between June 20th and July 3rd, the biggest of its kind to ever have been launched in the country. An opening ceremony will be held on June 22nd, with corresponding forums and screenings of Chinese animation films.

People will be able to see both some classic masterpieces and the most popular original pieces currently in China at this exhibition. These artworks from older and younger generations of animators and comic artists feature a wide range of styles that might change your perception of Chinese animation.

The exhibition is co-hosted by the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of The People’s Republic Of China, and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Japan.

It is organized by both Guangdong and Guangzhou Cartoonists Associations, and curated by both Jin Cheng, President of the Guangzhou Cartoonists Association and Lin Dihuan, a popular cartoonist from Guangdong.
