Fu Hua, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Guangdong Committee and Head of Guangdong Publicity Department, led a delegation to visit Singapore, South Korea and Japan from June 6th to 15th and hold the Charming China-2019 Guangdong Culture Week that presented the development of Guangdong and the authentic Lingnan culture (Cantonese culture) through a variety of cultural exchange activities.

During his visit to Singapore, Fu Hua made an address at the FutureChina Global Forum, saying, “The development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area provides both Guangdong and Singapore great opportunities. And I hope the two regions could further cooperation and reach win-win situation.”

He also attended the opening ceremony of the China (Guangdong)-Singapore Media & Culture Exchange Week and witnessed Nanfang Media Group and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Chinese Media Group, the biggest Chinese media group in Singapore, sign an MoU to deepen omnimedia cooperation.

When visiting South Korea, Fu and his delegation met with Lee Hwa-soon, Vice Governor of Gyeonggi-do Province and shared ideas on the ways to push forward tourism, cultural tours and education exchanges between Guangdong and Gyeonggi-do. They also attended various activities including a sharing event of China-South Korea friendly exchange stories and a China-South Korea music concert.

During their visit to Japan, Fu and his delegation met with Ido Toshizo, Governor of Hyogo and discussed on the cooperation in the fields of trade, education and environment protection. They presented at the China-Japan folk music concert and witnessed Guangdong Radio and Television station and Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group signing cooperative agreement respectively with their Japanese counterparts.
