Recently, a hen in Jiangyou city laid an enormous egg. According to the Guinness Book of Records, published by China Broadcast Television Press in 2004, the record for the world's largest egg is 148 gram. Ms. Peng, the owner of the hen, says that her egg is 87 grams heavier. The huge egg has the same appearance, shape, color and luster as an ordinary egg. The egg is 10 centimeters in height, 6 centimeters in width and weighs 235 grams. An ordinary egg weighs just 60 grams.
