The second unit of Chinese army aviation helicopters arrived at Russia's Shagol airbase on Wednesday for a joint military exercise.
So far, all the Chinese military helicopters have been deployed as scheduled.
The first helicopter unit arrived at the Urals airbase Tuesday evening after two days of flight and transition.
The 16 Mi-17 transportation helicopters and 16 Z-9 armed helicopters of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) have traveled about 2,700 km after taking off from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest China.
