Su Tseng-chang, head of Taiwan's "Executive Yuan", announced his resignation from the post on Saturday morning, according to sources in Taipei.

The ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) of Taiwan has changed head of Taiwan's "Executive Yuan", or "premier", five times since it came into power seven years ago.
