NPC, CPPCC to open in March

CHINESE and foreign journalists were invited Friday (Feb 4th) to cover the annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) in Beijing.

The Third Session of the 10th NPC will open March 5, and the Third Session of the 10th National Committee of the CPPCC will begin March 3, according to the general offices of the NPC Standing Committee and the CPPCC National Committee.

A press center will be set up in the China Hall of Science and Technology, No.3 Fuxing Street, Beijing. It will be responsible for arranging for Chinese and foreign correspondents to cover the two meetings.
