Guangdong, Japanese Parliament deepen exchanges

On the occasion of traditional Chinese Lantern Festival, a Hyogo Parliament delegation of Japan visited Guangdong. The tour aims to deepen bilateral exchanges in economy & trade, tourism and environmental protection.

The representatives visited local enterprises GAC Toyota Motor co., LTD. and then met with Chen Xiaochuan, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Guangdong Province and officials from other relevant provincial departments.

Chen briefed to the delegation the province's advancement in the past thirty years. She said the year 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan, it also marks 30th anniversary of friendly relationship between Guangdong and Hyogo.

Nagatomi Masahiko, head of the delegation, who visited Guangzhou for the first time, said he was greatly impressed by Guangzhou's transportation and greening. He hoped the friendly exchange between Guangdong and Hyogo can be further deepened.
