Radio Guangdong re-launched its English website, used as a platform for programming and a link with listeners, on the occasion of Radio Guangdong English Service's tenth anniversary on March 1. This gala was attended by 15 consul generals and representatives from 9 chambers of commerce as well as Guangdong Government officials. Visitors can visit the site at e.rgd.com.cn.

About English Service of Radio Guangdong
With the great support of the Information Office of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, Radio Guangdong launched "Guangdong News" (now renamed "Guangdong News Now" on March 1st, 2002, becoming the first and only English news broadcast in Guangdong.
Launched May 24, 2003, the "Guangdong Today" news and feature story program produced by Radio Guangdong is aired on WRN (formerly called World Radio Network, now renamed WRN Broadcast) on Saturday and Sunday, 14 times per week. The 15-minute program is broadcast to North America, Europe, Africa and regions of the Asia Pacific. It's also available for live streaming and download on WRN's website.
My Guangdong was launched in the new version of Guangdong Today on the first and third weekend every month. The program interviewed foreigners living, working and studying in Guangdong, sharing their stories with the Province. Over 300 foreign Guests, including the Heavyweight Champion of the World, Evander holyfield and Martin Yan, host of the award-winning cooing show Yan Can Cook, as well as Consul Generals in Guangzhou, had been My Guangdong guests.
