The recent commotion that's been persisting in Thailand has rendered tour groups destined to Thailand from Guangdong suspended for the past week.

So far, more than 90% of the tourists who had signed up for a tour package to Thailand have chosen to have their refunds or postpone their trips to later dates. However, some tourists nevertheless still wished to sign up for a tour to Thailand. A manager with the Guangdong China Travel Service Co. said:

" we've seen customers who want to sign up for tours to Thailand but we told them in a responsible manner that they should hold it and wait for a while. We must wait until we get the confirmation from the Chinese Embassy in Thailand that the country is safe to visit, then we'll arrange our tourists for the trips. "
