More than 200 deputies and advisors from Guangdong arrived in Beijing on March 2 to attend the National People's Congress and National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference annual sessions. Proposals being discussed are related to people’s livelihood and building a harmonious society, migrant workers, education and Medicare. Fang Jiqian, a political advisor from Guangdong said he wants to improve the situation of migrant workers.
