On Aug 18, protesters gathered in HK for “peaceful, legal and non-violent” demonstration
In the afternoon, protesters took to the streets around Victoria park
But once the rally ended, protesters began creating disorder
They gathered around the HKSAR government building and the police station
Laser pointers targeted police badge and vehicles passing by
A tourist from Shanghai was mobbed
Protesters held him, spray-painted words on his shirt, and even forced him to take a picture
At around 11 pm
Bored protesters were eager for some “action”
Two protesters even started fighting each other
A man in a white shirt was hit and he began bleeding in the back of head
On Aug 19, the police said in a press release that
Protesters will block the airport on Aug 24 again
This series of acts lead to a reasonable doubt
What’s the true intention behind these “peaceful” protests?
Is it to protect Hong Kong?
Or a conspiracy to jeopardize social order and stability?
