CEBU Pacific, the Philippines’ leading carrier offering low-cost services, has commenced direct flights between Shenzhen and Manila, in line with the carrier’s plans to expand its route network in China to cater to increased demand for leisure and business travel.

The flight from Shenzhen to Manila runs four times weekly — every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. It departs from Shenzhen at 3:05 a.m. and arrives at 5:55 a.m. in Manila. The flight returns from Manila at 11:35 p.m. every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Monday and arrives at 2:05 a.m. the next day in Shenzhen.

“The flight arrives in Manila in the early morning, enabling travelers to make full use of business hours, or easily connect to hundreds of onward leisure destinations in the Philippines,” said Joe Kwok, general manager for Greater China of Cebu Pacific. He added that Shenzheners and residents of neighboring cities now have more choices for flights to the Philippines from Shenzhen, in addition to flying from Guangzhou or Hong Kong.

Currently, Cebu Pacific flies 23 times weekly between the Philippines and the Chinese mainland.
