Anderson Talisca scored twice as Guangzhou Evergrande eased past Melbourne Victory 4-0 to top Group F of AFC Champions League here on Wednesday.

The Brazilian netted twice in just 10 minutes to gift Guangzhou a comfortable lead, which was enlarged further by Yang Liyu before the halftime break. Leigh Broxham made an own goal later on.

Just six minutes into the game, Gao Lin's left wing cross found Talisca and the Brazilian's header into the far corner gave the home side an early lead.

In the 10th minute, Talisca netted again to double the lead with a left-footed curling shot from outside the area, and Yang added the third in the 42nd minute when the 22-year-old scored a powerful effort from just inside the box.

The second half saw the home side continue to dominate and an own goal by Broxham in the 74th minute allowed Evergrande to seal a four-goal victory.

Guangzhou are leading the group on goal differential with Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima beating Daegu FC of South Korea. All the three teams have six points while Melbourne Victory are tailing in the group without a single point.
