Guangzhou held the opening ceremony for the 51th China International Beauty Expo at the China Import and Export Fair Complex on March 10.

Nearly 3,000 cosmetics companies attended the fair to showcase their latest products and discoveries. The exhibition was filled with hundreds of thousands of people from Guangzhou and Foshan, Guangdong province.

The expo runs from March 10 to 20 in a 300,000 square-meter indoor exhibition area. Flagship items like smart underwear and daily chemicals, as well as unique industries such as weishang (online micro-business) and e-commerce platforms, are on display.

A dozen company representatives shared research reports, with two Foshan companies standing out. Several cosmetics giants concentrated on modern achievements in skincare and had some insightful discussions on the subject.

With the slogan "All Colours, Colours All", the aim of the expo is to gather a diverse array of people to explore and embrace many types of beauty with an open mind.

Over 30 bazaars will be held during the exhibition, and consumers are free to look around.
