Beijing International Book Fair opened Wednesday with a focus on China's reform and opening-up.

The fair is now in its 25th year. More than 2,500 exhibitors from 93 countries and regions are taking part, displaying some 300,000 books.

Among them are 24 countries along the Belt and Road. Morocco is the guest of honor.

Several sections are dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up, with publications showcasing the achievements over the past four decades.

The book fair, founded in 1986, has become the country's key international book fair and copyright trading platform.
