Guangzhou’s economy keeps stable growth from January to May in 2018. The latest statistics show that the city has attracted 173 projects about IAB (next generation of IT, AI, biological medicine) and NEM (new energy and new materials) with a total investment of 223.1 billion RMB.
For instance, the 2018 Guangzhou Annual Investment Conference has seen 93 of the Fortune Global 500 companies, 44 of China's Top 500 companies.
Next, Guangzhou will further the opening up to participate in construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and Nansha Area of Guangdong Free Trade Zone.
As for developing into a hub city along the Belt and Road, it will promote the cooperation project of Jazan Economic City in Saudi Arabia, Malacca industrial park in Malaysia.
