Another excellent place to kill time while waiting for your flight! As well as shopping and dining, you can now visit the exclusive showrooms opened by Guangdong Museum in T2 Terminal, Baiyun Airport.
Delicate Lingnan-style artwork including porcelain, embroidery and ink-stones are on display. Exclusive museum store products are on sale as well. From a 50 RMB coin purse, to a 20 RMB embroidered coaster, they make nice souvenirs at an affordable price.
A local Guangzhouer Ms. Liu said that if she has enough time, she would definitely enjoy this new feature of the airport. She was happy to see the opening of exclusive stores from her hometown’s museum, as she had visited similar ones in other cities like Paris and New York.
The showrooms plan to hold live performances or displays of Guangdong’s unique culture and heritage.
The showrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the T2 terminal and officially opened on May 30th.
