High temperature over 35°C hits Guangdong

Hot days have come to Guangdong! By 14:00, May 16th, the highest temperature reached 35℃, appeared in Deqin, a county of Zhaoqing City. For Guangzhou, the city will see high temperature with thunderstorms in following days.

Up to 16:51, May 16th, a total of 43 high temperature alerts (yellow alerts with temperature reaches at least 35℃) have issued in Guangdong since 0:00, May 16th.

China has a four-tier weather warning system, with red representing the most severe, followed by orange, yellow and blue.

According to Guangdong Meteorological Observatory, the whole province will be cloudy to sunny in the next three days while there will be scattered showers. The highest temperature in some areas will reach 35℃.

May 16th, cloudy, 26.2-34.7℃;

May 17th, cloudy to thunderstorms, 26.2-33.8℃;

May 18th, cloudy to thunderstorms, 26.3-33.8℃;
