Guangzhou Metro will normalize passenger flow control at four stations including Jiahewanggang, Renhe, Gaozeng and Botanical Garden during the morning peak hours from May 22nd. It will also adjust the passenger flow control schedules at Yantang and Haizhu Square.

As the Metro network becomes increasingly sophisticated, the metro has become the number one choice for getting around the city. According to Guangzhou Metro, the passenger volume increased 8% year on year in this April. And to ease traffic pressure and ensure security, it released the new passenger flow control plan after multiple sessions of data analysis and a field assessment.
