The paintings on display are of various themes and different styles. Artworks presented by Guangdong artists shows both traditional Chinese painting techniques and creative drawings of modern Chinese and western style. And the oil paintings presented by Russian artists are about true-life and nature, most of which were created after they visited China.

Organized by Guangdong Association of Artwork (GDAA), the exhibition is expected to enhance the art and people-to-people exchanges between Chinese and Russian artists, so as to promote the cultural exchange between China and Russia.
