Guangdong’s foreign trade hits 1 tln yuan for first two months, links with B&R countries tightened

According to Guangdong Customs, Guangdong saw a steep increase in foreign trade for the first two months in 2018 with the volume reaching 1.03 trillion yuan. The trade structure kept optimizing as general trade volume rapidly increased and new business types, such as e-commerce and market purchase, kept popping up.

Guangdong saw tighter trade relationship with B&R partners as the trade volumes between Guangdong and B&R countries increased 24.8 percent and accounted for nearly one fourth of the provincial volume. Trade volumes between Guangdong and other key partners including Japan, U.S.A and Korea, also saw rapid growths in the past two months.
