To attract top line academics and professionals from overseas, Guangzhou has put forward a series of international talent strategies and related policies for the development of the Free Trade Zone and innovation in technology.
Thus far, Guangzhou has granted long-term residence permits (classified as more than 2 years) to over 12,000 expats, and set up visa services in its 7 districts. Meanwhile, 75 service stations have been built in communities that home over 200 expats.
