According to Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, 150 species of 450,000 valuable and rare tulips will be introduced into Guangzhou and shown at the Seed and Breeding Industry Town in Nansha District from Feb. 8 to Mar. 3, 2018.
This is going to be the largest tulip show with the largest number of introduced tulips in Guangzhou so far. The tulips are expected to be in full blossom around the Spring Festival during the middle ten days of Feb.
With an area of over 21 acres, the show will display over 200 varieties of flowers, including world-renowned breeds of tulip, hyacinth, Hippeastrum rutilum, and narcissus, over 6 million plants in total.

Tickets will also be fairly priced for everyone, with adults at 30 yuan ($4.7), students at 15 yuan and free entry for all children below the height of 1.2 meters, soldiers and seniors older than 60, China Daily reports.
Guangzhou Seed and Breeding Industry Town is in Guangzhou's Nansha district and covers an area of 5.5 square kilometers. The area is aptly named as it is home to a seed and breeding industry park, a science and technology innovation park, an entrepreneurial incubation park as well as an urban modern agricultural demonstration zone, according to China Daily.(Author: Gao Yuan (intern); Editors: Olivia Yang, Monica Liu)
