Guangzhou hosted a roadshow for the first time during this year’s Davos, announcing its “2018, year of international communication” plan. The roadshow highlighted opportunities coming up in the city to its global partners, and introduced two major international meetings to be held in the city this year, the Guangzhou Investment Conference and World Routes 2018.

2018 Guangzhou Investment Conference

According to Chen Jie, Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Commission of Commerce, the 2018 Guangzhou Investment Conference will be held from March 27th to 28th.

Going further than last year, the 2018 conference will invite countries along the Belt and Road and Guangzhou’s sister cities to join the partnering workshop so as to build up a two-way investment platform. It will also give insights into the major industrial parks in the city.
