The 2nd Session of the 9th Zhuhai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) concluded at the Zhuhai Grand Hall in Xiangzhou on Jan 17, with resolutions passed at the closing ceremony.
During the three-day convention, CPPCC members of the municipal committee made a raft of suggestions to inject new impetus into Zhuhai's ongoing reform and future development.

As of 6 pm on Jan 15, there were 439 proposals submitted centering on five aspects. They include ideas for economic development and business environment, talent cultivation, innovation-driven development, urban layout optimization, disaster relief, societal progress, and democracy and legal system construction, plus livelihood.
Of them, 332 proposals were filed upon examination and will be transferred to relevant authorities for execution. At the same time, CPPCC municipal committee will select key proposals and supervise implementation.
