Guangdong residents enjoy online public service systems in 2017

The survey shows a trend that Guangdong is offering more public services online. 35 percent of the sample audiences have utilised online services and rate it highly.

Recently, Guangdong conducted a survey on its public services in 2017. Guangdong gains an overall score of 73.51 this year, making it the highest in the past nine years.

Public utilities & market services, transportation and education ranked top in the ten major indexes of public services. Among them, electricity services gained the highest score and has achieved the highest satisfaction rating nine years in a row now.

Meanwhile, people hope environmental protection, housing security and employment security services could be further improved in the future.

Most interestingly, the survey shows a trend that Guangdong is offering more public services online. 35 percent of the sample audiences have utilised online services and rate it highly.

People stated that online services bring more convenience and the highest satisfaction scores and to online booking systems and service guides. They have high hopes that the government could have more online services and digitalize more procedures.
