Guangzhou

‘Celebrate in Sparkling Light’ at Chimelong Paradise

From now till Jan. 1, 2018, Chimelong will launch a high-energy theme event for the New Year and unveil a fantasy world of ‘Celebrate in Sparkling Light’ at Chimelong Paradise. The celebration will include a Nordic style parade, colorful light party, themed variety market and scrumptious New Year buffet meals. Come experience this fantasy town sprinkled with a little Chinese creativity.

Operating hours for night session: 15:00 to 21:00

Admission: RMB 299 for two persons for night session during the Carnival event period

Have a magical New Year at Guangzhou Chimelong International Circus

Chimelong International Circus will be giving away mystery New Year’s gifts to children. And its Circus Star Restaurant will also be serving a selection of New Year set dinners. All visitors can claim a gift voucher at the time of entry with their tickets. With this voucher, if visitors take a photograph at Circus Square and then post it on their moments with the caption “Chimelong International Circus” they are eligible to claim a mystery gift at the gift redemption counter.

UTOPA FUN FUN Ice Carnival

Starting from Dec. 22, UTOPA FUN FUN Ice Carnival. So fun they named it twice... the carnival will be a joyful experience for all the family with a wide choice of activities to dive into. There will be a simulated ice skating rink, a parent-child stage play of ‘Snow White’, a clown parade, folk art & game booths, and romantic snow scene at the plaza. ‘Snow White’ will be staged on Jan. 1 & 13, 2018. Don’t miss out.

The 16th Liuxihe National Forest Park Plum Blossom Festival

With a history of over 50 years and around 100,000 plum trees, the plum forest covers an area of around 500 acres at the Liuxihe National Forest Park. This is one of the biggest plum forests in Southeast Asia. Every winter, white plum blossoms make the park look like as if it is covered in snow, and the fragrance of plum blossom drifts over the whole park. The park attracts countless visitors every year.

New Year concerts at Shenzhen Concert Hall

From the end of December both local and world-famous orchestras will bring a wide array of New Year concerts and performances at Shenzhen Concert Hall.

2017 Foshan Food Festival featuring authentic Foshan cuisine

The six-day Foshan Food Festival will present both locals and visitors around the New Year holiday with a great feast. 2018 Huizhou West Lake Lantern Expo

As one of the largest annual events in Huizhou, since its establishment years ago, the West Lake Lantern Expo has been a highlight in the city’s caledar. The lighting ceremony at this year’s expo kicks off on the evening of Dec. 29, 2017. A total of 58 groups of lanterns will be set up around the park, including some on the water and others in the wooded areas. Among them, 8 are super-huge lantern installations, with the largest one nearly 120 meters long!
