The activity was part of this year's series events featuring consul-generals introducing their countries and cultures. As of now, a total of eight consul-generals have come to Guangzhou Children's Library and treated the children with knowledge and culture from their countries.

During the activity, Banziger taught the children several words in four languages and shared with them some beautiful photos of famous scenic spots in Switzerland. He also read a popular Swiss story Barry:a true story of rescue on four paws to the young listeners.

To coordinate with this activity, Guangzhou Children's Library also set up a special book exhibition featuring Switzerland-based picture books including The Swiss Family Robinson and Rainbow Fish.
