ACD is devoted to promoting economic integration in Asia, developing an open and inclusive market and further linking up the common interests, according to Bundit Limschoon, secretary-general of ACD.

The focus of ACD will be placed on the linkage and coordination in regional supply-side, supply chain and value chain, increasing the competitiveness of Asian enterprises in the global market, and promoting the economic synergy and sustained economic growth in Asian countries, he said.

China has been firm in pushing forward the process of Asian integration and ACD has an irreplaceable role in the process, said Chen Mingming, a veteran Chinese diplomat.
