Inside, the four carriages are decorated according to the development of Guangzhou and Maritime Silk Road over four periods. One represents the Qin, Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties, another the Sui, Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties, the third the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the final car the 21st century. Each period is represented through pictures of cultural relics and interesting stories.

The tram passes by both modern landmarks including Canton Tower & Pazhou Complex and historical sites of the Maritime Silk Road such as the Pazhou Pagoda & Huangpu Ancient Port. Therefore, taking this themed tram will immerse you in Maritime Silk Road culture and allow you to take in scenery, both ancient and modern.

The tram provides a round trip from Canton Tower to Wanshengwei Station making 11 stops, arriving roughly every thirty minutes. It runs 17-18 shifts every day, serving passengers according to the timetable listed below. It will run for three months until December 31. Don’t miss out.
