Hugo Shong, Global Chairman of IDG Capital, and Tom Rosamilia, Senior VP of IBM, arrived in Guangzhou on Sept. 19. They are the first batch of consultants to have arrived in Guangzhou in order to attend the 2017 plenary of the International Consultative Conference on the Future Economic Development of Guangdong Province 2017 (ICCFED 2017), which will start on Sept. 21.

"My proposal will focus on Internet of Things, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence this year," said Tom Rosamilia.
The other 10 consultants to have been invited by the Guangdong government will arrive today or tomorrow.
With themes of “Finance” and “Technology”, the ICCFED this year has invited 12 government consultants, from a wide range of sectors. These consultants will offer Guangdong officials suggestions as to the province’s economic development.
