The 2nd Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians will be held from Sept. 12 to 24 at Zhuhai Huafa & CPAA Grand Theatre, the Zhuhai Daily reports.
Approved by China's Ministry of Culture, the competition is jointly hosted by the Zhuhai municipal government and the University of Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria.
Organized by Huafa Group, the competition is an influential cultural event in the world. Since November last year, the competition has received applications from 34 countries and regions, with most of the applicants from top music schools in the world.
